Our Church
Our church began as a mission church in this area in the 1820's and was organized on May 23, 1831 with 43 members.  At one time it included the Hopewell Academy which fostered scholarships for area students.  Hopewell Church is a registered historical landmark.  Even as our community transitions from a rural setting to an increasingly suburban area, the foundation of our church remains based on three primary strengths; Service, Fellowship, and Worship.
Our present membership is near 300 and is active in the lives of our communities, of Franklin, Bargersville, Whiteland, New Whiteland, and surrounding areas.  Yet, we pride ourselves on having the flavor of a small country church - a family-oriented, friendly church.
